During the 2014/2015 fire season over in Western Australia, McDermott Aviation assisted in several Aerial Fire Bombing operations in Baldivis, Western Australia.

You will also notice this 214st is sporting the new expanding fire fighting belly tank which can you believe is made about 250 meters from our Cooroy (Noosa hinterlands) Heli base by Helitak Fire Fighting Equipment

A little history on our Families Aviation company which started in a once small town named Cooroy.

McDermott Aviation Pty Ltd was established back in 1982, beginning operations as an Aerial Application specialist company. Since then, we have grown into Australia’s largest privately owned helicopter company – whilst still operating out of our original premises on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.
