Our Aircraft/
Bell 47
The Bell 47 (Hiller (Soloy) turbine conversion) is a highly efficient light helicopter well suited for aerial spraying, low-volume application work and light lifting operations.
Aircraft Overview
A versatile and economical platform for agricultural and environmental missions
The turbine engine delivers improved reliability and performance compared to piston-powered variants, while providing operational endurance of up to approximately 2.5 hours. This makes the 47 a versatile and economical platform for agricultural and environmental missions.

Agricultural Liquid Spraying
The aircraft can be fitted with liquid spray equipment capable of carrying up to 450 litres. Its relatively low acoustic signature for a turbine helicopter makes it suitable for operations in noise-sensitive environments, including near livestock, equine facilities, and populated areas.
Fire Ant and Mosquito Eradication Programs
McDermott Aviation has also developed custom in-house dry application systems for the precise distribution of granulated products, including treatments for fire ant eradication, yellow crazy ant programs, and mosquito-larvae control. Our company’s air-blast solid application system enables consistent, low-rate application with a high degree of accuracy and repeatability.
